Three Chords & The Truth

Time Travel, Rock n' Roll, Redemption

What if you had a chance to relive your past and choose a different path? Would you take it, knowing you risked losing all the good things in your life?

In this “Back to the Future” meets “It’s a Wonderful Life” tale, Kyle Fleming thought he had everything a man could want out of life; a healthy child, a beautiful and devoted wife and more money than he could ever spend. A ruthless senior vice president for a major pharmaceutical company, he’s alienated friends and even family members on his march to success, forgetting who he is along the way. Returning to the rundown New England town where he grew up, Kyle is determined to build a new plant that may propel him to the company’s CEO role, but forever destroy the charm and character of the once thriving seaside resort.

Coming home however has stirred up long forgotten regrets about the career choices Kyle made to appease his father. Caught up one fateful night in a freak Nor’easter, he wakes up back in 1985 with a second chance to chase a dream; a shot at rock n’ roll fame and fortune leading his destined for stardom band The Truth.

Pursuing that dream though comes with a steep price as every decision Kyle makes in his new past alters the future he knew. Will he sacrifice the few good things he had in his life to chase stardom or can he find a way to merge both paths and win the heart of the woman he loves? He’ll need to relearn the value of community, family and friends and find the good man he once was to make it all work, before his future and past are destroyed by fates beyond his control.

Three Chords & The Truth is the story of one man’s search for personal redemption and reclaiming the dreams of his youth.

Two Redheads & A Dead Blonde

Ronan Marino thought life was going to be easy when he won the biggest jackpot in the history of the California lottery. Leaving behind a successful career as a Special Agent with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations, he was finally done with long deployments to not so exotic locales and meeting new and exciting people who wanted nothing more than to kill him. After years of war, numerous undercover ops and a bad divorce, Ronan believed himself headed for easy street. He couldn't have been more wrong.

Moving back to his boyhood home in Lowell, Massachusetts (best known for Jack Kerouac and boxer Mickey Ward of "The Fighter" fame) he planned to do nothing more than meet the girl of his dreams, start a family, play in a crappy bar band and work on his extensive comic book collection. When his new girlfriend is found dead in the cold waters of the Merrimack River however, Ronan learns she had a dark secret; one that powerful men on both sides of the law are desperate to remain hidden.

Calling on his mob enforcer cousin for backup, Ronan dives headfirst into places where even angels fear to tread; committed to finding who took his girlfriend's life even at the cost of his own.

Chasing Curves

Private detective Ronan Marino returns with an all new mystery. When college pitching phenom Ty Wallace is accused of murdering his prospective agent's secretary, the ballplayer's father enlists Ronan Marino to clear his son and uncover the real killer. Working the hardscrabble streets of Lowell and the upscale Boston Back Bay neighborhood, Ronan uncovers a series of clues leading him right into a web of blackmail, gambling and sex; a conspiracy seemingly directed by his boyhood idol, a former Red Sox player and his partner in crime, a renegade gangster aiming to wrestle control of the Boston family from Ronan's uncle.

Meanwhile, Ronan struggles with problems of his own including a teetering relationship with his doctor girlfriend, who is not appreciative of the risks he takes in his chosen profession and his family ties. Complicating matters is his attraction to the new chief of police at the university, who Ronan sees as not only his female mirror image but a potentially perfect crime fighting and romantic match. With his mobster cousin Tony and Lowell Police detective Eddie Garcia providing backup, "the best that money can't buy" once again finds himself caught between the light and darkness; desperate to solve the murder and figure out why his personal life continues to be such a mess.

The Vicious Cycle

For the first time in years, former Air Force Special Agent Ronan Marino enjoys a period of relative calm in his life. His relationship with a beautiful doctor has progressed to the point of serious commitment, his family has accepted his post-military career as a private detective not for hire and he’s even considering investing in a bar and grill with an old friend. That peace however is short lived as a new challenge, unlike any he has ever faced, confronts Ronan head on.

An outlaw motorcycle club has moved into Lowell and brazenly challenged the reigning Colombian cartel for control of the local drug trade, threatening an all out gang war. Ronan vows to stay out of it and leave the problem to the police but when his girlfriend develops a dangerous addiction to drugs the bikers are peddling and a friend is found murdered execution style, he refuses to remain on the sidelines and once again finds himself rushing in where even angels fear to tread.

Using all the resources at his disposal, including allies on both sides of the law, he’s determined to solve the murder, take down the gang and prevent a wave of violence unlike anything ever seen in his hometown.
